"DUBLIC Notice is hereby given as A - required by Statute of the intention of the Te Rapa Drainage Board to raise a Special Loan for the purpose of constructing and improving watercourses and drains in, and providing outfalls for water from, the Horotiu Subdivision of the Board's district, and to provide for the purchase of any necessary tools, equipment, machinery or plant for the work and engineering and other incidental expenses arising therefrom; the sum proposed to be borrowed is One Thousand Pounds ' sterling, the proposed security for the loan and provision for repayment is a Special Rato on a graduated scale upon the full rateable capital value of all rateable property In the Horotiu Subdivision according to the classification of the said lands as follows: — On lands classified "A" a Special rate of lid (one- penny and onefourth of a penny) in the £.
