CYCLONE IN AUSTRALIA
SCHOONER BLOWN ASHORE. MISSION STATION SUFFERS. (United Press Associativa.} Received January 30, 10.0 a.m. PERTH, January 30 ; . A cyclone struck the coastal dis-, tricts 'in.the vicinity of Broome, and ] caused considerable damage. ■-■■'■] The schooner Mena was blown ■ arhorc in Beagle Bay. The 51 people aboard managed to reach the shore safely after a hazardous swim of 500 yards. All the roads were blocked by fallen trees, and many windmills were ov $ turned. \ The Beagle Bay mission station suffered severely, but so far as is known nobody was injured.
