MEMORIAL TO THE VICTIMS.
IMPRESSIVE SERVICE AT DAWN,
(Reuter.) Received November 20, 11.30 a.m LONDON, Nov. 19
A moving memorial service for thv victims of Mi was held at dawn on the spot where the submarine submerged tiie last lime it was seen from aboard 11.M.5. Maidstone, which was accompanying Ml when it disappeared. Eight submarines, two destroyers and two mine sweepers participated in the ceremony. Their Hags were halfmasted, tiie burial service was read, the hymn “Eternal Father” and an anthem were sung, three volleys wera fired, the “Last Post" sounded, and wreaths dropped into the sea.
