WINES FOR CHRISTMAS.
T.M.V. PRODUCTS. As tho festive season comes round, most households take advantage of the opportunity to add a case or two of good wine to the Christmas bill-of-fare, just to add the final note to the spirit of good cheer, which always prevails at this time of the year. At the Summer Show this year the famous To Mata Vineries from Hawkc's Bay are exhibiting the wellknown T.M.V. wines, which are famous throughout the Dominion. The history of the Hawke's Bay Vineyards is interesting in view of the fact that they were established some 35 years ago by Mr Bernard Chambers,, and over a period of a quarter of a century these tasty vintages have secured diplomas and gold medals in Pmglish and foreign exhibitions. The selection of wines offered contains many grades, principal among which are Madeira, Tawny and Invalid Port, whilst in dry wines the Hock, Claret, and Sherry are to be recommended. T.M.V. wines have a fine nutty flavour which must appeal to those with a palate able to discern a (rood product. The head office of the firm is situated in Havclock North, Hawke's Bay, where all enquiries receive prompt attention. Visitors to the Show are advised to call on Mr A. F. Anderson, the firm's representative, who will be happy to offer samples to those requiring a supply of good wine for the coming season.
