PATERSON. —On November 17th, at his late residence, Tepler Street, Ngaruawahia, Thomas, beloved husband or M. E. E. J. Paterson; ago 80 years. —Funeral will leave his late residence at 12.30 on Thursday, Tor Ngaruawahia Cemetery.—Heron and Co., Undertakers, Ngaruawahia. 364 ' IN MEMORIAM. ALLEN.—In ever-loving memory or my dear son, George, who passed away at Hamilton, November 18th, 1918. Seven vears have passed away. Sad thoughts they linger round my heart, While tears ihey orten flow, And to that, sad and lonely grave My thoughts they often go. For many years our family chain Was closely linked together, But, ah, that chain is broken now. One fond link’s gone for ever. What would 1 give to clasp his hand, His dear, kind race to see, To hear his voice, to see his smile, That meant so much to me. All is dark within my dwelling, Lonelv is my home to-day, For the one who smiled to cheer me Has forever passed away. Though his loving voice is silent, And the true heart ceased to beat. I miss the well-knowm footsteps And the face I used to greet. But every hour that I go through.
