A CONSIDERABLE SURPLUS. ESTIMATES FOR COMING YEAR. (Australian and N.Z. Cable Assn.) BERLIN. April 30. The German Budget shows a net surplus for last year of 334,000,000 marks. The Finance Minister, Herr Schlieben, in his Budget speech in the Reichstag, estimated next year’s expenditure at 4.900,000,000 marks, and the revenue at 4,652,000,000 marks. He said that he proposed to increase the beer, tobacco, and fxcisc duties in order to meet the deficit.
