Mcdonald aimd parker draw. win for Mcknight. By Telegraph.—Press Association. PALMERSTON NORTH, Friday. Lachie McDonald, middleweight champion of New Zealand, and Eddie Parker, ex-champion, met this evening in a 15-round fight for the title and a purse of-£20,0. The fight went the full, distance and the decision of a draw was popularly received. Parker was the aggressor most of the time, but McDonald, who led earlier in the fight, made up leeway in the last two rounds. N. McKnight (list 21b), of Hamilton, knocked out W. Walden (list 21b), of Palmerston, in the third round of an amateur bout.
