PLAN OF REFORM
NO COMPROMISE INTENDED
(Australian and N.Z. Cable Assn.) Received December 27, 10.5 a.m. ROME, December 26.
The newspaper Messagero states that Signor Mussolini informed various Fascist Deputies that his recent electoral reform announcement was not made because he desired to compromise with his enemies.
"It is not my habit," Mussolini added, 'Ho make compromises with anyone. I proposed electoral rform on my own initiative. It is part of the plan of reform I have in mind, and which I intend to carry out from time to time. The Matteotti trial will take place. I have nothing to fear, and justice will be done."
