The first army medal was struck by Cromwell, to commenmorate the Battle of lumbar. The second one issued is I hat for Waterloo, although in order of service the Peninsula medal should occupy this place. One of (he scene painters of the British Empire Exhibition at Wembley is responsible for 18,000 yards of painting.
The English Channel is more salt in winter than in summer.
