--Violent scenes look place at Nice, in the vicinity of St! Jean Church between numerous- anti-Fascists and Italian and French: Communists, who attacked members of the Nice .Fascist section who assembled at the church for a. Requiem. Mas? in memory of Signor Bonservizi/ the Paris Fascist leader, who ,was : killed at a cafe in Paris. Many people were, injured, among them the Baron dAuvare and .the young son of the Countess of Villa-franca-Soissons, who were injured in the head. . The. police .eventually drove the crowd 100 yards . away from the church. During the'elevation of, .the Host the singing of the "Internationale" drowned'all other pounds.
