Gurran, married,.;, an •i'tising saleman, was found on tiie flood of the strongroom in ids office In the Strand Arcade, unconscious, with the end of a gas tube in his hand and a strong escape of gas. He died just after he was admitted to hospital. TAUMAHUNUI, Friday. An inquest was held to-day on Rebecca Thorns, aged 26, married, who died under an anaesthetic administered by Dr. Vivian at G. 11. Burtenshaw's? dental surgery yesterday afternoon. The medical evidence showed that death was due to cardiac weakness, that was practically syncope. The condition of the heart could not have been ascertained by an external'examination which was made prior to the extraction of the teeth. There was nothing to indicate that deceased suffered from a weak heart. The coroner returned a verdick 4hat death was due to misadventure, no blame being attachable to anyone:
