GOOD PROSPECTS IN WAIKATO. j DISTRICT NEVER LOOKED BETTER, j .PLENITUDE OP PEED, (By Telegraph—Special to Times ) WELLINGTON, Friday.

Southern visitors to the Walkato Show, which opened in Hamilton on Tuesday, have expressed themselves as being particularly struck with the splendid condition of the lands of the district at this lime of the year, from Ihe standpoint of feed for slock. Everywhere, they stale, there is a very fine growth of grass and root crops, Which is generally nol usual for this period of the year, and the farmers in the Waikafo are confident of a very successful winter season.
