factory managers on Thursday evening to the popular secretary of the Waikato
Winter Show Association was well deserved. Hamiltonians have long- recognised that Air \V. H. Paul is a valuable asset to the town and district, for lie has striven in season and out or season lo build up the winter exhibition to its present proud dimensions. When he look charge of the Association's affairs it was comparatively a. small concern, but he imparted energy and enthusiasm into his duties. He was deferred by no obstacle, and he boldly faced and overcame numerous difficulties which would have appalled the majority of men. the rcsull being thai each year's fixture has marked an appreciable advance, until the Waikato Winter Show is now regarded as the leading gathering of its kind in the Dominion. The Association, as the president of the Dairy Factory Managers' Association tritely remarked.. Is to be congratulated upon possessing such a secretary, and it is pleasing lo have spch tangible evidence ?;s that of Thursday evening that visiting patrons' to the Show recognise the amount of work ami thought he lias expended for ihoir benefit. The incident was an honour
to Mr Paul, a compliment to the Association, and a credit to the factory managers.
