WESTFIELD MARKETB. Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report having held their weekly sale of fat stock at Westflcld on Wednesday as under: — Beef: A larsre yarding, prices easier. Extra choice ox 25s per 1001 b, prime ox 20s to 245, plain and unfinished 15s to 19s, prime young cow and heifer beef 19s to 2!25, other lo* to 18s. Messrs Alfrejd Buckland and Sons, Ltd., report:—At our weekly Westfield fat stock marked we penned 667 beef, comprising 368 steers, 294 cows and heifers and 5 bulls. The demand was sluggish with a further decline in values. Lambs penned in smaller numbers, sold at late quotations. Heavy and medium ~,ime lambs 25s to 30s, light prime 23s to 24s 6d, best unfinished 18s to 225, others 13s lo 17s. Pigs were penned in smaller numbers, prices for fat pigs improved on last week's quotations, while prices for store pigs declined.
