Thu sno cog wheels are carried round as cargo. The drive from manure shafts to stars is effected by bevel gear, the pinions being made of the very best material. An'effectual spreading board distributes the manure in even quantity for a width of Bft. This board is hinged so that it will rise in passing obstructions. The draught is light and so much so that a pony can work this machine all day without fatigue. The road wheels are four feet high and arc fitted with non-skid bands to prevent skidding on suitings. Oil caps are now standardised on all machines. This method of lubricating the wheels is a long way ahead of grease axles. The manure box is so low that little effort is required in filling.
