The following barometer and thermometer readings, taken from 9 &.m. dally, and weather conditions, are kindly supplied by Mr James Bremner: Barometer. Monday • 30.10 Tuesday 30.30 Thermometer. Saturday .. G2 52 Monday .. 54 40 Barometer high at 30.30. Indications are for continued fair weather, with light variable winds, mostly westerly, and cold nights. Yesterday was fair, with brisk south-west winds. Mean temperature 50.5 degrees. The Weather Bureau wires:—The indications are for southerly moderate to strong winds and backing by east to north. There is a prospect of fair to cloudy weather, and will probably become warmer. Barometer has a rising tendency.
