ACCUSED PLEADS GUILTY.

WilHam Whyley (29), a baker, was remanded at the Central Criminal Court, Sydney, by Mr Justice Campbell, on a charge of maliciously wounding Agnes Simpson, at Manly, on October 10, with intent to do grievous bodily harm.

Accused pleaded guilty. In a statement from the dock, accused said that he boarded with Mrs Simpson, and eventually ho got to love ner. He was pursued by William Arnott Miller, a retired fanner, and another man. He kept the pair at hay with lite razor, but was eventually captured the same evening.
