EXCHANGE OF INSPECTORS.
"ANOTHER FOOLISH IDEA."

The Otago Education Board resolved to protest against the Department's proposal to transfer senior inspectors in order to provide an interchange of experiences and opinions in various districts. The chairman, Mr Wallace, commented that it was another foolish idea for wasting the country's money, and expressed the opinion that any benefits accruing would be equally attained by a conference of inspectors.
