FRANCE v. GERMANY. BERLIN, Dec. 10. For the first time since 191 i, a football match was played by French and German teams at Mainz. The former won by five points to nil.
"SOCCER" CUP TIE. LONDON, Dec. 10. In the Soccer Cup final Arsenal beat Carlton Athletic by 3 points to 1.
