MELBOURNE POLICE.
STRIKE CONDEMNED IN BRITAINUnited Press Association. SYDNEY, Dec. 10. The Great Britain Police Association refused to listen to a deputation from the Victorian police. While they sympathised with their grievances, they disagreed with their action of striking. They agreed to permit voluntary subscriptions' to he sent to the strikers for assistance.
