The following barometer and thermometer readings, taken from 9 a.m. daily, and weather conditions, are kindly supplied by Mr James Bremner: Thormometor. Saturday .. 85 50 Monday 86 42 Barometer. Monday 80.10 Tuesday 80.05 Barometer 80.05. Judications are for generally fair weather during the nrxl 48 hours, with high winds between N.W. and S.W., probably followed wilh lower temperature and occasional showers. Yesterday was fair wilh brisk westerly winds. Mean temperature 05 degrees.
The Weather Bureau wires:—The indications ore for westerly moderate to strong winds with a southerly tendency. There is a prospect of fair fo cloudy weather. The barometer shows little movement.
