LONDON, Ootober 2.
There was a very full attendance of delegates and experts at the opening meeting of the Imperial Economic Conference. Sir Philip Lloyd Graeme briefly reviewed the economic situation. Messrs Mackenzie King, Massey, Smuts, McGrath, Warren, Innes, and Ormsby Gore made specohos, in reply, emphasising the tremendous possibilities of development of trade within the Empire, which •was capable of producing practlcall!, v all the raw material required by the Motherland. Their desire was to help to the utmost.
