GOLF.
HAMILTON CLUB.
The finals of the men's championships in the B. and C. grades were played on Saturday. The. B grade game bet-ween D. Gerrand and Gibbons provided a very stubborn contest, the match finishing in favour of Gerrand by one up, the game having to be continued to the 24th green ere a decision could be reached. In the C grade the final between Coombes and Dr. Spencer resulted in favour of the first named, 2 up and 1. The final of the A grade between N. Bell and Tate will be played next Saturday over 3-6 holes.
HAMILTON LADIES' CLUB.
On Wednesday the monthly medal round will be played for the L.G.U. silver and bronze medals. Mrs Bell plays Mrs Simmons, Mrs Fraser plays Miss A. Rimmer, Mrs Blyth plays -Miss (Rimmer, Miss Donny v. Miss -Gould, Mrs Cox v. Miss McNicol, Mrs Lusk v. Miss Coventry, Miss G. Hammond v. Mrs Masters, Miss Stevens v. Miss Young, Miss E. Hammond v. Miss D. McKay, Mrs Gower v. Mrs Hume, Mrs C. F. Bond v. Miss G. Jones, Miss Tisdall v. Mrs Jo'll. Mrs Blyth won the trophy for the bogey match, given by Mrs J. Carter. On Friday a match over 18 holes will bo played for those in the C grade.
