N.Z. CO-OP. DAIRY CO., LTD.
FACTORY AT MORRINSVILLE. ITS ERECTION PROBABLE. A deputation of Morrinsville suppliers to the N.Z. Co-op. Dairy Co. Ltd., waited on the company yesterday for the purpose of ascertaining whether the company intended to erect a factory in Morrinsville. The deputation pointed out that notwithstanding the fact that an opposition -factory existed in the town the supply from Morrinsville to-day was only a few tons short of previous seasons. The deputation, moreover, was satisfied that as suppliers were increasing their herds (some to the extent of 50 per cent) the supply next season, would" show a substantial increase over that of last season.
The company agreed to put an official on the j')b immediately and provided this official was satisfied with the prospectus it was resolved to proceed with the erection of the factory, this to be in readiness for the next milking season (1924).
