SIGHT REGAINED.
AFTER LAYING-ON OF HANDS. CLERGYMAN CURED. A f remarkable cure of spiritual healing was reported recently by Dr. Radford, Bishop of Goulßurn. After a spccial'intercession service in St. Saviour’s Cathedral, Rev. J. D. Nicholson, rector , of Barmcdman, who had a cataract on his left eye, and was gradually losing the sight or his other eye, found that he had regained full possession of his sight. At the service Dr. Radford performed the laying-on of hands. Mr. Nicholson’s sight had been •steadily failing. lie recently consulted a Sydney eye specialist, who held out no hope regard to the eyes. Mr. Nicholson returned to Goulburn and asked Bishop Radford to give him the laying-on of hands, with prayer, for the recovery of his sight. Accordingly, a service was held in the Bishop Thomas, Chapel, the clergy (Archdeacon ' Ward, Canon Howell, and the Rev. W. Parkes) ,being present as intercessors. Meanwhile the churchpeople of Mr Nicholson’s parish, Barmedmun, and of Wyalorig had arranged to intercede in their churches at the same time.
Immediately after the ministration, Mr Nicholson discovered that he could see with his hitherto blind eye. lie has every confidence that a permanent cure has been offected.
