PERSONAL.
Mr M. H. Hamps'on, of Rotorua, who has been visiting Australia, returned to Auckland by the Marama yesterday. Commodore A. G. Hotham, C.M.G., R.N., formerly Naval Adviser to the New’ Zealand Government, will leave Auckland on Friday for Wellington. He will leave the latter port by the Tahiti for San Francisco on his way to England. Mr. S. L. Dcmming, of San Francisco, representing American canning and dairy machinery interests, arrived in Auckland by the Marama yesterday. He intends visiting the Waikato’ to supervise the installation of some special dairy machinery for one of the factories here.
