The following barometer and thermometer readings, taken from 9 a.m. daily, and weather conditions, are kindly supplied by Mr James Brcmner:
Thermometer. Monday 54 ;;J - Tuesday .... 53 34 Barometer. Tuesday 29.65 Wednesday 30.0 Yesterday was generally fair, 0.0inches of rain falling. Winds were from north-west. Mean temperature, 43.5 degrees. The barometer has risen rapidly since bust reading, and now registers 30.0, normal. Indications are for fair weather during the next few days, with light southerly winds and cold nights.
The Weather Bureau wires; The indications aer for southerly winds, moderate to strong, and backing by south to east. The weather appears likely to be cloudy and unsettled at times, with scattered showers. The barometer has a rising tendency.
