CONCESSIONS TO SOLDIERS
AMENDMENTS TO BILLS,
N.Z.R.S.A. SUGGESTIONS. ANOMALIES TO BE REMOVED. By Telegraph.—Special to Times. WELLINGTON, Monday. Certain amendments which the N.Z. Returned Soldiers' Association desire to be made to the Discharged Soldiers' Settlement Bill and War Pensions Amendment Bill, as' passed by the Lower House recently, were placed before Hon. W. F. Massey and Hon. W. Nosworthy by a deputation from the Association.
Mr Massey promised that an endeavour would be made before the session ended to remove anomalies which might exist in the Bills mentioned, as the Government desired that they should be as perfect as possible.
