ACCIDENTS & FATALITIES.
By Telegraph.—Special to Times. TE AWAMUTU, Tuesday. j John McKenzie, aged about 55, was : found dead in a cowshed at Pukealua ! on Sunday. He was engaged by a : farmer on Saturday. At the inquest ! this morn ing the evidence showed j that deceased entered the shed with j his employer. The latter went away j for a few minutes, and on returning j found deceased lying on the concrete Hoot- dead. lie had recently been working at Pukcatua, and was a widower with tw'o married daughters in Taranaki and Pukekohe. The medical evidence showed that heart failure was the cause of death, and a ; verdict was returned accordingly. j
