The following barometer and thermometer; readings, taken from 9 a.m. daily, and weather conditions, are kindly supplied by Mr James Bremner: Thormomeior: Saturday .... 61 95 Monday 57 97 Barometer. Monday 30.0 Tuesday . 29.80 Yesterday was fair, with light, southerly winds and cold night. Mean temperature, 42 degrees. Barometer falling. Indications are for fair and partly overcast weather during the next 48 hours, with brisk winds from an easterly direction, later from north, and warmer weather generally. The Weather Bureau wires:—The indications are for easterly winds moderate to strong. Expect changeable and showery weather. The barometer has a falling tendency.
