BILL THIS SESSION.
A New Zealand Times reporter was informed that the hill designed to bring fruit control into operation has been drafted, is on the Order Paper, anil may come before the House any day. There is practically no opposition to the measure, for which reason it is possible that it may be tabled before the Dairy Export Control Bill. 11, is stated that it is optional fop producers to come in or remain out of control, either in respect or export produce or that for Ihe New Zealand market, or both. It is quite possible that one or two provinces will remain outside for the present, supposing thai Ihe bill is passed . 11 is hoped, it was explained to Ihe reporter, thai, it will result in fruit reaching (lie public at a cheaper rate while giving a-greater return !o Ihe producer, but will result in cutting out a good deal of the expenses now incurred between the fruit leaving the producer and reaching the consumer.
