Jdnfftton Library Committee there -were present Messrs A. J. Denz (■chairman), iM G. Sanford (treasurer), A. E. Webb, H. Dymock, J. Jebson, B. Pomlon, and V. S. Harris (secretary). I It wa& decided that the librarian, Miss G. Pulman, be temporarily attached to the Hamilton Library, so that she might obtain a working knowledge of the system.. It was decided that the library tours for the timebeing should be from i pjn. to 5.30 p.m., and from 7 p.m. , to 9.30 p.m. on week days, and from 9.30 am. to i-30 p.nz, only on Sundays. It was reported that the contractor bad the inside work completed, but that owing to the recent continuous

The books donated to date were all in an excellent state of preservation, but there was still room for a fekv hundred more. It was also pointed out in -the report that there was ample space on the walls for pictures, and it was suggested that those who Say have photos of early Frank-ton might present them to the library.
