SPREADING ISLAMISM.

Remarkable scenes were witnessed U (he 'laying of the foundation st.one sf.a mosque in the suburb of .Charlot;enburg, for the furtherance of Mafiomniedanism in Germany. Mt Mubarakali, representative of the Amadhia movement in Islam, who performed the ceremony, speaking, in. English, said that the object of the. movement was the propagation of the pure religion of Islam throughout the world. The attendance included Egyptians, Persians, Indians and representatives of the Prussian Government. The Egyptians frequently interrupted Mr Mubarakali.
. Later the committee of the Egyptian National Party issued a statement to the press, declaring that the Amadhia movement was being conducted by a group of Englishmen and Indians in order to support English Colonial policy .throughout Islam. The English Government, through the Amadhia Party, intended to use the new mosque for pan-English propaganda.
