U.S.A. WHEAT CROP.
AN AMENDED ESTIMATE, A JUMP IN PRICE. Australian and N.2. r.ahie Assn. Received August 9. 10.30 a.m. NEW YORK, August 7. A despatch from Chicago says the Department of Agriculture has estimated the year's crop at 793,000 busliels, which is 28,000 below Hie appraisement of a month ago. However, last year's harvest totalled 862,000 bushels. Hence low production caused the price to' jump half a cent to 97| cents.
