The late President Harding's funeral train arrived nearly 12 hours late on account of the vast crowds thronging the tracks at practically every station along the 3000-mile route. President Qoolidge, Mr Taft (Chief Justice), and General Pershing accompanied by a military escont placed the late President's remains upon the caisson of the unknown soldier, and proceeded through the thronged concourse to the White House, where the body is resti p in state to-night, amid as many llo'al tributes as could be placed in 'the east room, in which appeared wreaths from King George, M. Poincare, King Alfonso, and virtually every Government in the world.
