WEST COAST RAILWAY.
MUCH COAL BEING CARRIED. By Telegraph.—Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, Wednesday.. A railway official stated that a great deal of coal is coming through the Otira tunnel. It looks as if this traffic will be heavy. Comparatively a small consignment of produce is going through from the East Coast, but Canterbury merchants have not yet got into their stride.
