The following barometer and thermometer readings, taken from 9 a.m. daily, and weathsr conditions, are kindly supplied by Mr James Brcmner:
Tnennomewr: Tuesday 56 26 Wednesday .. 58 40 Barometer. Wednesday : 30.25 Thursday 30.05
Yesterday was fair, with light southerly winds. Mean temperature, 49 degrees. The barometer has a falling tendency. Indications are for generally fair and overcast weather, with probably an occasional shower. Winds variable, mostly from a southerly direction.
The Weather Bureau wires; The indications are for easterly winds, strong to gale. The weather appears likely to bo cloudy and unsettled. Heavy rain is to bo expected. Barometer falling.
