SYDNEY HARBOUR BRIDGE
TURNING THE FIRST SOD. (Special Correspondent.) SYDNEY. July 7.' Saturday, July 28, will be a redletter day for the residents of the northern harbour suburbs of Sydney, for it will mark the turning of the first sod in the construction of the bridge across Sydney Harbour. Tenders for the bridge have been been received from nine firms: —Two English-, one Anglo-Beige, one Canadian, three American and two I Belgian.
