GOLD BARS BY AIR.
Bullion in the form of gold bags, valued at £IOO,OOO, was carried by a Daimler Air Express from London to Holland. Air transport is becoming increasingly popular with bullion exporters, not only on account of the speed, but also because of its comparative safety from theft once in the air.
