CROSS-COUNTRY CHAMPIONSHIPS. SIZE OF TEAMS REDUCED NEW ZEALANDERS FOR SYDNEY. By Telegraph.—Press Association. WELLINGTON, Monday. The result of tiie mail vole, taken by the Amateur Athletic Union of Australia and New Zealand, reduced the size of tiie teams to compete in the Austr&lasian cross-country championships from nine men to six men, the first four finishing to count for points. This practically assures that New Zealand will be represented at the championships in Sydney on August 25. CARR IN SWEDEN. WINS TWO EVENTS. Australian and N.Z. Cable Assn. (Received Juno 26, 12.30 p.m.) LONDON, June 25. A message from Gothenburg states that Carr at Trondhjem won the 100 metres race in 10 4-ssec., and Hie 200 metres in 22Asec.
