VICAR TURNS BAPTIST.
LEAVES ANGLICAN CHURCH. By Telegraph.—cress Association. ASHBURTON, Monday. Believing that infant baptism lias no scriptural authority, tiie Rev. F. A. Crawsliaw, Anglican vicar of Hinds, near Ashburton, has joined the Baptist Church and has accepted a call to Gisborne. Mr Grawshaw held his last service at Hinds yesterday evening, when the Anglican Church was crowded. An undenominational song service was held, after which presentations were made to Mr Crawsliaw and his wife. Mr Crawsliaw was recently immersed in tiie Hinds River.
