Received June 23, 11.30 a.m. LONDON, June 22V A sensational situation concerning smallpox at Gloucester lies in the fact that Uie authorities .knowing they had the epidemic, permitted a trade fair Id be held, which thousands from all parts of the country attended. Accusations have been made that there has been an attempt to conceal the position, because it would be detrimental to the trade and city. Gases, believed to have had their source in Gloucester, have been reported in London, Liverpool, and Cardiff.
