BUTTER MARKET DULL.

BIG CONTINENTAL SUPPLIES. CHEESE GOING DOWN. Australian and N.Z, Cable Assn. LONDON, June 21. The butter market is very dull, with little demand for colonial owing to heavy supplies of Danish, which are offering at about 1545, and also increasing arrivals, from Prance, Holland, and Ireland. The total imports for May were 541,000 cwt. New Zealand choicest is quoted: Salted ,452 s to 1545, unsalted 154 s to 1565; Australian, 144 s to 1465.

Very little choicest is offering. Secondary Australian is quoted at 130 s to 1365.

Cheese on spot is scarce. New Zealand white is quoted at 00s to 925, coloured 90s, but 114,000 crates are due to arrive at the week-end, for which the importers are asking 82s Li) 86s. The Australian is practically cleared at 82s to 84s.
