Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., aro in receipt of the following cable from their head office, London, under date the 15th inst:— Cheese.—First grade New Zealand white and coloured, market firmer todav. Wool. —Liverpool B.A.W.R.A. offered and practically all sold, 41,000 bales, including 25,000 merino. Demand good.' Continental buyers are the principal operators. Home trade quiet. As compared with last sales closing rates in London: Merino wools, greasy, 5 per cent to 74 per cent lower; do. scoured, par to 5 per cent lower; comeback and fine crossbred wools, 5 per cent to 7£ per cent lower; crossbred wools and medium coarse quality, 5 per cent to 10 per cent lower. Except good bright 46, any change in prices is in favour of the buyers. Strong tfomand for broken fleece and pieces.
