WAIIII, Tuesday. A serious accident occurred this morning near Owharoa. An elderly man named 11. Bcrridgc, aged 58, employed at Joughin’s quarry wairks,. was run Into by the noon train from Paeroa to W'aihi, and sustained grave injuries lo liis head, lie was conveyed in the ambulance Lo Wailli Hospital, where he died without regaining consciousness.
