Mr "f. B. Williams, Mayor of Wangaruh, was a visitor to Hamilton to- \ day. *> Sir Alfred Pickord, Boy Scout Commissoner, Will arrive, in New Zealand on June 5, landing at Auckland. The death occurred yesterday, at Ngaruawahia, of Mr Adrian Prendergast, who was woll 7 k!iown in musical circles. He was aged 20. Lrf! Mr William Cadbury, a director of Cadbury. Bros., Ltd., and one of the largest employers in Great Britain, will visit New Zealand shortly. Mr H. Poland, M.P. for Ohinemuri, accompanied by Mr J. Hand, left by the Marama yesterday on a visit to Sydney. The Rev. Thomas Walter, who died recently at Alderstone, Warwickshire, aged 69 years, was at one time a resident of New Zealand. He had a farm Dear Hamilton and married the eldest daughter of the late Mr R. B. Gore, of Wellington. Bishop Liston has receved cabled new-s from Bishop Cleary that he arrived on Thursday at Perth, West Australia, by the Ormuz, on his way home to Auckland. The Bishop, who is now in excellent health, and says he has not felt better in the last forty years, will not reach Auckland for another six weeks.
