COUNTY ELECTIONS.
NOMINATIONS RECEIVED.
In -connection with the Waikato County elections, to be held on May 9, the following nominations have been received: — For four representatives on the Central Electric-- Power Board: — Messrs Geo. Henry Boyd, Thomas Clarkin, William Henry, Thomas Hinton and Wm. Lee Martin. For the Waikato Hospital Board (two seats): —Messrs J. P. Bailey and Thomas Hirfton. For the Waikato County Council the nominations are:— r WWangamariho >R*ding. Messrs John F. Goodwin and Jas. W. Taylor. Huntly Riding.—Mr J. C. Bailey. Taupirl Ridjing.—Messrs Wm. Henry, A. Manson and John McGregor. Rototuna. —Messrs Walter Cate, T. H. Henderson and Thos. Paterson Jr. Ruakura. —Mr Thos. Hinton. Tairahere. —Messrs Thos Clarkin and Samuel Lye. • Cambridge.—Mr Wm. Newell. Except in the cases of the Cambridge, Ruakura.and Huntly ridings an election will be necessary.

The following nominations have been received for representatives of the following ridings on the Raglan County Council: — Port Waikato Riding.—Mr A. Cobourne. ' / . : Pukekawa. —Mr H. A. Hawke. Onewhero.—Mr C. G. R. Taylor. Whangape.—Mr A. H. Murray.' , Pukemiro. —Mr W. C. Broughton. v Waingaro.—Mr H. W. Wilson. Te Akau. —Mr J. E. Richardson. Karamu. —Mr C. Johnstone. Pirongia.—Mr M. J. Corcoran. Matakowhai. —Mr J. L. Martyn. The above are all elected. Polls will be necessary, in connection with IHe following:— Karioi Riding.—Messrs P. Swann and G. Vernon. v Whangaroa.—Messrs W. J. Lusty, T. Parker and v C. W. Ralfe. • Two representatives on the Waikato Hospital Board are required for the combined districts of KawWa and Raglan, and as Messrs Campbell Johnstone and A. G. Dent only have been nominated they are declared elected. '
