“NEXT, PLEASE!”
(To the Editor.) Sir —After reading Arthur J. Tomlinson’s letter in yesterday’s Times, and thinking it out, it seems to me that the master hairdressers had two evils to face, keeping the price of haircutting at Is and reducing the employees’ wages, or raising the,.price to Is Gd and continuing to give the men a decent living wage. Of the two evils I think that they have chosen the lesser. —I am, etc., SIION JONES. Hamilton, March 7, 1923.
