At the Police Court Henry William Taylor was charged thai between March 10, 1916, and January U, 1923, he did steal £4406 0s id, the property of a local llrm, and also lhat on March 10, 19J0, he stole £23 10s, the property of the same firm. Accused pleaded guilty. Detective-Sergeant Quirke staled Lhat accused had been managing a department of the llrm from 1915 Nil early this year, and during that lime had drawn cheques in Ihe name of Ihe llrm and ronverled the moii.-y In his own use. Accused wa.- .-..mrnillfd lo the Supreme Court for sentence.
