The following barometer and thermometer readings, taken from 9 a.m. daily, and weather conditions, are kindly, supplied by Mr James Bremner:

Yesterday was fair and partly overcast, with light variable winds. Mean temperature, 59 degrees. Barometer unsteady at 30.05. Indications are for generally fair, overcast weather during the next 48 hours, probably followed by unsettled conditions. Winds variable, mostly from a northerly direction.
TJie Weather Bureau wires: The indications are for variable and strong , breezes, but easterly prevailing, and backing by cast to north, and the weather cloudy to overcast. The night will probably be cold. The barometer has a rising tendency, but falling soon.
